Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for your email and interest in our organisation.
We are committed to putting young children first by ensuring quality care and education for our country’s youngest and most vulnerable citizens. We aim to do this by improving the early childhood development (ECD) services in South Africa through training, support and advice in the field of early childhood development. We offer courses and programmes aimed at enhancing individual and organisational capacity; develop and disseminate resources; and carry out research specifically related to the African context. Based in Cape Town, South Africa we offer services and programmes country wide, increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of early childhood development provision to all South Africa's children. The Centre works with early childhood development practitioners in community-based projects whose focus is programmes for children aged 0-6 years old and who operate in areas of the greatest neglect and poverty. Our geographic area of operation covers projects in urban, semi-urban and rural areas across South Africa. The majority of our trainees are South African women.
Part II
The website that I will be looking at in greater depth is the Children's defense fund website.
Main point: Watch out what we are cutting as it pertains to our children... VOTE!!!
It is our job to be the voice for our children! If we do not vote then our children will NOT have a fighting chance! What will be taken away from them???
What a great response, nice work, crossing my fingers I get meaningful responses too. I look forward to reading more about your experiences as you explore with your new contact.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited that you've received a response already! I can only hope within the next day or so that I receive some form of feedback. I was nervous after sending the emails simply because I know when I receive mail from someone I don't know, I may or may not open it. So, I am wondering if he or she will feel the same way!! (smile)
ReplyDeleteGreat job Stephanie!
