The Children's Defense Fund has an awesome website the purpose of this organization is to inform the public  about what's happening in America as well as to provide other initiatives for those that are interested in the care, health and well being of children.

This week the focus of the website were the following:
Be careful what you cut
State of America's Children Handbook: this handbook offers a large sum of data as it relates to nutrition, education, and many other areas. I found this handbook to be a eye opener and I encourage you to download it and look at the data that has been complied.
